Restorative Dentistry Services
We offer patients a great experience with each and every restorative dentistry visit.
Dental Implants
Because dental implants are an excellent solution to missing teeth, they can prevent nearby teeth from drifting to an abnormal position. Dental implants eliminate gaps, providing a permanent, natural alternative to dentures.
We restore dental implants by attaching artificial teeth to implants which anchor in the bone below the gum line. After the surgical placement of the dental implants in the jawbone, excess bone and gum grow around the implants, holding them firmly in place. The end result is strong, secure teeth that are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
Porcelain Inlays & Onlays
We design porcelain inlays and onlays to fill in cavities and areas of damage in the teeth. Like regular fillings, they protect the teeth from further decay. However, while traditional fillings fit inside a cavity, we place inlays and onlays on top of the tooth to build up the cusp of the tooth and add strength. While regular fillings are made of a soft material that fit inside of the tooth, inlays and onlays are molded from porcelain and cemented in place.
Composite Fillings
In the past, a restorative dentist could only treat cavities and tooth ailments with silver and mercury fillings. Our modern restorative dentistry procedures can replace these unsightly fillings with tooth color composite fillings made of porcelain or resin. We seal these fillings to the surface of the tooth, creating a strong bond that prevents future decay.
Bridgework
If you have gaps in your smile and find it difficult to speak and chew, dental bridges may be the right option for you. Bridges work by closing spaces in your mouth and filling gaps with long-lasting artificial teeth. Dental bridges are semi-permanent and they can only a restorative dentist can remove. They are comfortable and proven to strengthen the teeth. Dental bridges can also attach to dental implants for a more permanent solution for missing teeth.
Partial Dentures
A partial denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces multiple missing teeth. It can attach to the teeth with clasps (clasp or conventional partial) or it can attach to the teeth with crowns with precision attachments (hidden clasps). Both types have a metal framework and plastic teeth and gum areas.
