Dr. Jennifer Bayer
D.D.S.
Dr. Jennifer Bayer was born and raised in the State of Iowa. She attended college at the University of Northern Iowa where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Having always been drawn to the dental field, she continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduating in 2005, and receiving The Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry award.
While in dental school, Dr. Bayer had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Costa Rica and an externship to Montana, on the Crow Northern Cheyenne Indian reservation. These experiences further solidified her decision to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Bayer further continued her education with her residency at Evanston Memorial Hospital in Illinois, working in multiple specialty areas from pediatrics to emergency room trauma. During this time, she was the recipient of the C.A.R.E. award for outstanding patient care. This award meant so much to her, as her number one goal is to provide patients exceptional care, in the most comfortable and stress-free environment possible.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bayer enjoys spending time with her daughter, Ashton. In her free-time she loves playing sand volleyball, hiking, skiing and traveling, with a further gift and passion for photography.
Dr. Jonathan Koerperick
D.D.S.
Dr. Jonathan Koerperick spent his early childhood in Dubuque, Iowa before relocating to Geneva, Illinois at age 9. Since he was a young boy, he wanted to be a dentist. In fact, his eighth-grade career report was written about his dream to become an orthodontist, and this career goal remained throughout his school-age years.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University, Dr. Koerperick attended dental school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During this time, he discovered that he truly enjoyed the variety of general dentistry. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in General Dentistry and moved to Arizona soon after.
Before building and opening Raintree Dental in 2005, Dr. Koerperick gained valuable experience working as an associate dentist at various practices in the Phoenix area. These experiences also provided him with a clear vision of how he wanted to manage his own practice. “I’m pleased to offer patients the attention and quality of care that I would want for myself or my family.”
Dr. Koerperick regularly attends continuing education courses and enjoys keeping current on advancing technologies and techniques. “Dentistry has come so far, and treatment options continue to improve significantly. The technology that is now available allows us to detect issues earlier, which means they can be treated more conservatively and safely.”
Dr. Koerperick currently resides in Scottsdale. Together he and his wife have three young children. During his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, off-roading, and spending time with his family. He looks forward to seeing you at your next dental visit!
